When Punch Taverns commissioned Soda Group to redesign two key areas at their head office in Burton upon Trent, the levels of innovation, quality and creativity which emerged have firmly cemented Soda Group’s position as one of their ‘go to’ design companies.
MBE – TRINITY LEEDS
Soda Group are proud and excited to announce the opening of our first retail project at the Trinity Leeds pop-up stores BLK BX. This is lauded tailor and designer Timothy Everest’s first store outside of London. A huge amount of work is going into the BLK BX Albion Street Store which was designed and procured by Soda Group in only 3 weeks.
MbE’s bespoke and made-to- measure service has an incredibly rich heritage. Its founding partner Timothy Everest MBE was a pioneer of the New Bespoke Movement and has been involved in ateliers in London’s Spitalfields for over twenty-five years. Made by Everyone… for you. MbE brings together the best craftsman, materials and designers to create garments that showcase British style in both bespoke and ready to wear ranges.
Soda Group were approached to design this 3 month pop up to reflect Tims Shireditch store. Using old worn furnture, suspended frames from the ceiling and a 5m mural depicting the Tailors MbE branding this BLK BX has been brought to life. A smoke screen sheer provides a VIP tailoring area to the rear and new hooped dressing rooms have been installed. A pop up bar and DJ booth allow the venue to turn into a night time venue hosting the launch of various local talents.
Expect to see an incredible range of beautifully detailed ready to wear garments alongside shoes, sneakers and one off pieces on large custom ply tables designed specifically for the Leeds store. Original art work by artists such as ‘Lauren Baker’ adorns the walls giving the store that edgy style to compliment the product.
JZ FLOWERS HQ – LEEDS
Soda Group have created a vibrant brand for one of the biggest distributors of fresh flowers to the UK. The new head quarters of the Dutch flower group carries a neon yellow and sultry grey theme through every space tying this ginormous 2000 sq.m office space together linking each room with ease. Space planning led us to create private intimate areas for close work, to break out areas where the users are encouraged to interact. Creating a fun energetic place to work was our simple brief, because life is not a job!
